How To Claim Your Rebate
Offer ends when rebates are gone, so act quickly! Watch your email for updates on the number of remaining rebates and when offer ends.
To claim your rebate, visit https://www.datarebate.com/AKcoppperammochallenge/
You will receive a $40 Visa gift card for each box of factory loaded copper ammunition purchased, up to two boxes per person ($80 total). Be prepared to submit the following information.
- Your contact information, including Alaska mailing address and email address.
- Name of store where you purchased your copper ammunition.
- Upload a copy (image or PDF) of your receipt for qualifying copper ammunition. Purchase date must be visible and must be after April 1, 2024.
- Upload photo of ammunition box showing product name and caliber (often on the side of the box).
(Your photos may turn out best if you do not use the flash on your camera.)
Your rebate will be mailed to you in the form of a pre-paid Visa® card.
Processing times are longer than expected. Please expect at least 6-8 weeks before your rebate is sent. Thank you for your patience.

Full terms and conditions below:
- Participants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Alaskan hunting license, and have an Alaskan mailing address.
- Ammunition must be legally purchased through a retail vendor (at a store or online) with the name of the store displayed on the receipt.
- Limit of two rebates (up to $80 total) per person.
- Offer ends when all rebates have been claimed.
Privacy statement:
- Personal information will be stored temporarily on a secure server at Conservation Science Global and ADFG, used to implement the program and troubleshoot any issues that arise with the rebate process. Individuals who participate in the program may receive a follow-up email with a survey to share their experiences as an opportunity to provide feedback to the program. Answers to the survey questions will be aggregated but will not contain individual-level data.
- No individual level information will be permanently stored. No personal information will be shared outside this program unless respondents indicated they wanted to learn more about Backcountry Hunters and Anglers or Alaska Falconer’s Association.
AK Copper Ammo Challenge is a unique partnership of hunting organizations in Alaska to reduce accidental lead poisoning in wildlife by supporting the voluntary use of copper rifle ammunition. We provide Alaskan hunters information and discounted copper ammunition so they can try it and decide for themselves. Who’s up to the challenge?
